For sale is a 2013 Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC ABS SBK Special Edition. In English, it's the RSV4 Factory ("racing" version instead of "street"), with Aprilia Performance Ride Control, anti-lock brakes, etc. This is the "special edition" because of the badging celebrating Aprilia's 2012 Superbike World Championship win. It was only available in the USA, and purchased new by the original owner (whom I bought it from) for something around $22,500.
This bike is absolutely perfect in every way. It has under 1,000 miles (unless I really get some riding time in this week), and doesn't have a scratch, blemish, smudge, or anything else on it. It has been sitting in the original owner's garage for three years due to health issues and now has found it's way into my possession. The pictures I've attached don't do it justice. It looks like it just came off the showroom floor, aside from a couple splatters of grease on the wheel from the chain. The Aprilia cover it's stored under is softer than any of the blankets on my bed. If you're looking at this bike you probably know Aprilia already... so I don't have to say it... but I will anyway: This bike sounds like sex. It feels... a lot like sex. It handles better than anything I've ever ridden. The APRC is completely adjustable to whatever conditions or riding style you have. And the best part is that you probably won't come across one of these while you're out riding with a group. The more I write this the less I feel like actually selling it. WSBK 2013: Moscow Race Report
Mon, 22 Jul 2013Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
Ioda Racing Unveils Aprilia RSV4-Powered MotoGP CRT Race Bike
Mon, 12 Mar 2012Italy-based Ioda Racing presented its 2012 MotoGP and Moto2 race bikes including the Aprilia RSV4-engined TR003 prototype. The Ioda Racing TR003 machine (pictured above, to the left) uses a trellis-frame produced in-house while the engine is based on the RSV4′s 999cc V4 powerplant. The team will compete as CAME IodaRacingas a Claiming Rule Team entry.

Thu, 31 Mar 2011We know the sun always shines on the righteous and that’s exactly what happened last weekend at Donington Park. Yes its good honest people back in charge of the Derbyshire circuit so we saw summer sunshine for Friday’s free practice and also for WSB race two on Sunday. The circuit is better than ever with a new Esses section in place, and while the paddock remains unchanged, work has already started that will see gradual revamp over the year ahead.
