EICMA 2008: First Impressions

I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Mon, 14 May 2012BMW earned its first-ever World Superbike race win at the U.K.’s Donington Park, but missed out on sweeping the round after teammates Leon Haslam and Marco Melandri crashed on the final corner while battling for the lead in the second race. Melandri earned BMW its landmark first win in Race One leading Haslam in a one-two finish. They could have repeated that finish in Race Two but Haslam low-sided after making contact with Honda‘s Jonathon Rea trying to pass on the inside.
2014 Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 Available Now with ABS
Tue, 11 Jun 2013Aprilia USA announced the 2014 edition of the Dorsoduro 750 is now available at dealerships nationwide, now with the addition of anti-lock brake technology as standard equipment. The 2014 Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 uses a dual-channel ABS from Continental. According to Aprilia, the system monitors the speed of both wheels and separately controls the braking for both the front and the rear.
