The best scooter to go around the town, fast, excellent brakes, suspension, wheels, reliable since acquired in Feb 2008, no problems ever, just installed new brake pads. Everything works as it should.
Extras installed, ZX Sport exhaust, ignition dealer kit for faster performance. Has a few scratchs on both sides, one was on a parking lot, a lady while leaving lot on reverse!!, didn't see the aprilia parked, hit it slightly and made it felt to the left side (pls see pictures for detail) Still have invoice of sale, books, manual, two keys. Piaggio Reports Q2 2013 Results
Fri, 26 Jul 2013The Piaggio Group reported a 12.1% decrease in net sales over the opening six months of 2013, the company’s worst first half showing since 2004. Net sales totaled 671.5 million euros (US$891.9 million) over the first six months, compared to 764.1 million euros reported in the same period of 2012. Piaggio still earned a net profit of 25 million euros (US$33.2 million ) in the first half, but that’s a 26.1% drop from last year’s 33.8 million euros.

The Aprilia Tuono was already a favorite here at Motorcycle.com, and the latest updates should only reinforce that opinion. The Bosch 9MP ABS adds a degree of safety while only adding 4.4 pounds to the Tuono’s weight.
Piaggio Reports 2012 Sales Results
Wed, 27 Feb 2013The Piaggio Group reported a 7.3% decrease in net sales and a 9.0% decrease in net profit for 2012, thanks in large part to a sharp decline in demand in Europe including an all-time low for motorcycle sales in Italy. Piaggio reported net sales of 1.406 billion euros (US$1.842 billion) in 2012, down from 1.516 billion euros in 2011. Motorcycles and scooters accounted for net sales of 993.3 million euros (US$1.301 billion), a 3.1% decrease from 1.025 billion euros reported for 2011.
