Aprilia Scarabeo description

2013 Aprilia Scarabeo 500 ie 100, Ever since its arrival back in 1993, Apriliaa??s Scarabeo has set the pace for scooter design and technology, becoming a style icon in its own right. Every large wheel scooter produced since then has tried to copy Scarabeo's design. Because still today Scarabeo represents the most successful mix of classical and modern lines in any scooter. Scarabeoa??s reassuring, essential looks never go out of fashion. And with its flat platform, and modern, reliable engines, Scarabeo is amazingly easy to ride too. In fact, Scarabeoa??s recipe for success is so beautifully simple that it is impossible to copy. That is why riders become so attached to their Scarabeos that they would never change to another scooter. That too is why Aprilia takes such great care whenever it makes any improvements to this legend on two wheels. Scarabeo can evolve, but cannot be changed, and this is reflected in the new 2007 model. The improvements are radical, but in no way betray the original concept that has created one of the world's most iconic two wheelers. Scarabeo 100 Four Stroke is designed for riders who want that extra performance. As compact as a 50, and as sporty as a 125, the Scarabeo 100 Four Stroke gives sprightly acceleration and the ability to tackle longer journeys without fatigue.

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.

BRITISH RACING ace Bradley Smith has helped launch the new Capcom MotoGP 09/10 video game, at the Silverstone circuit in England. The Aspar Aprilia rider took on several journalists in a series of grand prix races featured on the new game. A new Tissot MotoGP watch was awarded to the journalist who beat Bradley, on time in a three lap race at the Mugello circuit in Italy, where Bradley won his second grand prix of the season last year. "It's a brilliant game not only for the racing at all the MotoGP venues, including the new circuits at the Balatonring in Hungary and Silverstone in England, but all aspects of grand prix racing including sponsorship, livery and PR," explained Smith who was joined by fellow British riders Scott Redding and Danny Webb, at the launch which was held at the prestigious BRDC suite at the Silverstone circuit, that will host the British Grand Prix this year. "There were some serious game players, there and I'm glad I don't have to meet them out on the track."
