BMW All description

1959 BMW R26 Black
I got this bike from my father. During his lifetime he probably put a half a million miles on various BMW motorcycles. When he brought this bike home he was riding it and it had been painted white. It disappeared for a few years while it was being restored. When it was finished he would ride it around town from time to time.
This is a number matching bike that appears to be almost complete and original.
I have a clear title in my name. The bike had been unridden for roughly 6 years prior to which I draimed the tank and ran the bike until it was out of fuel. (I used the three step tank cleaning, etching, and coating at one point)
I replaced the battery, fuel lines, and the rubber manifold from the original Bing to the air box, added fuel and it started right up. I have video of me riding it up and down the street. Although the tires are old they don't appear dry rotted or overly hard so I'm going to put in new tubes leaving tires to the new owner.
I'm willing to deliver this bike up to a few hundred miles from Las Vegas simply for my fuel cost.
For more information on it's condition, general questions etc. please contact me.

Victory VS. BMW Police Bike Challenge + Video

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

A notice to any potential law breakers out there: Victory is getting in on the police bike business. Using stock Cross Country models modified with only lights and sirens, the Victorys may not be as ill-equipped for chases (at least slow speed, parking lot chases) as you might think. Just check out this video below for proof.

Aprilia Takes a Shot at BMW [video]

Tue, 22 Jun 2010

The very successful viral video BMW created for its S1000RR sportbike earlier this year has yet again been made fun of by another manufacturer, this time being Aprilia with their RSV4.  Now I am sure its not going to get the same amount of attention as the BMW spot but I love a good cat fight, hopefully BMW will respond…  stay tuned.
