2010 Bmw F650gs F 650 Gs Twin (800cc) In Excellent Condition, New Tires, Rack on 2040-motos
BMW F-Series tech info
BMW F-Series description
For sale is a 2010 BMW F650gs (800cc twin similar to the F800gs) in
excellent condition, with 15k miles. Has factory trip
computer, ABS brakes, heated grips, adjustable rear suspension. Fully
serviced with synthetic oil and filter, all service including 12k valve
check, fluids flushed, new plugs, new tires, air filter are done. Bike
has brand new Michelin Aneke tires, and needs nothing to take cross
country right now.
Upgrades include K&N air filter, factory center stand option, and trip computer with digital gear read out/temp, mpg, range, etc. Includes brand new original screen, manual, all paperwork, two factory keys.
Available separately are a BMW factory touring screen (higher
and better wind protection than stock), an upgraded Sargent seat, Ricor rear shock, aluminum rear rack which can accept a givi top case or rotopax fuel and
water cells, and front fork upgrades - RaceTech springs and Ricor Intiminator dampers. This is the best handling F650gs out there with the
suspension upgrades.
If you are looking for the perfect adventure tourer or cross country
ride this is it. Plenty of power for 2 up riding and cruising at
highway speeds, but nimble enough to handle off road riding and
negotiate city traffic. This bike can do it all. It is the most
reliable, best riding bike I have ever owned, and consistently gets
60-65+ mpg. I have owned the bike since new, and have a clean title in
hand. In my opinion, the F800gs is overrated in comparison to this
bike, requires premium fuel, and doesn't handle as well as the F650gs
because of the oversized 21 inch front tire, and uses tubes, so you
can't plug flats, only patch the tubes. With the front suspension
upgrades, this bike handles better than the F800gs both on road and off.
I also test rode the KLR 650, which was way too slow and underpowered,
and the G650gs single, which was also sluggish, and the 1200gs, which
is way too big and heavy when loaded for touring. You won't be
disappointed with this bike nomatter what kind of riding you are doing.
If you
are interested, I can arrange transport within NYC, NJ, PA, Mass, for an additonal fee. I can also accept paypal for the entire bike purchase price as long as the seller pays the 3% paypal fee. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Bike is for sale locally and seller reserves the right to end the auction should the bike sell. Also, I'm continuing to ride as long as the weather is nice, so the mileage may be slightly higher than when the auction started.

Moto 3, Oral Engineering and the 2012 BMW S1000RR
Thu, 01 Mar 2012KTM and Honda may have been the main players at recent Jerez Moto 3 test but GP newcomers, Oral Engineering, weren’t too far behind with our very own Danny Webb posting the 15th best time. Italian based Oral are supplying engines to Mahindra Racing (Danny & Marcel Schrotter) and Ambroggio Next Racing (Simone Grotzki & Giulian Pedone). Mahindra have their motor housed in an all new, Italian tubular steel chassis, while Ambroggio have gone down the more economic route of using their 2011 Aprilia RSW 125 chassis.
WSBK: 2012 Misano Results – Video
Tue, 12 Jun 2012Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.
The future of law enforcement?
Mon, 12 Jul 2010THANKFULLY you're not looking at latest addition to the US Police force's motorcycle fleet - it's the futuristic machine that featured in the 2009 movie "Star Trek" .It's being prepped before being suspended mid-air in the "Born to be Wild: Vintage and Celebrity Motorcycles" exhibition in the Reagan Library's Air Force One Pavilion in Simi Valley, California. Looks a bit like a BMW R1200S, don't you think?
