BMW K-Series description

For sale is my 1991 BMW K100RS. This is a fantastic motorcycle, that I don't really want to get rid of, but I have some bills I need to pay. I purchased it a few years ago, bone stock, and have totally changed the look of this bike! I have been changing the oil regularly with synthetic LiquiMoly oil and genuine BMW filters. And I just recently changed all the fluids (engine, trans, diff, and brake), all with synthetic LiquiMoly fluids. Just put brand new Pirelli Angel GT tires on front and rear, new K&N air filter, new EBC brake pads front and rear, new NGK plugs, new Odyssey AGM sealed battery. I had the seat custom made out of alcantera and integrated a newer K-series led tail light into it (the tail light has integrated blinkers too). I installed a single round headlight with a 5000k hid in it, and led blinkers mounted to the side. I replaced all the bulbs in the cluster with amber leds which are easier on the eyes at night. Black Oury grips and custom fitted mirrors. Side mounted license plate mount. Hand polished all aluminum has tank. Bike has 73,716 miles on it, and probably pulls harder now than it did the day it came off the assembly line! Amazing bike that always turns heads!

How to murder an HP2 Sport

Some bikes and cars should be left entirely stock; left unchanged from the way the factory intended them to be. In purchasing them you should understand that. I could produce a list of vehicles that should be taken off the owner if they modified them in any way but I'll save you the boredom.

European Parliament Makes ABS Mandatory, Tighten Emissions Standards by 2016

Wed, 21 Nov 2012

The European Parliament voted overwhelmingly in favor of new rules that would increase emission standards and make anti-lock braking systems mandatory for all new large motorcycles, scooters and trikes and quads by 2016. The new regulations, which would still need approval from European Union member states, may only directly affect Europe, but they will have a wide-reaching affect on manufacturers’ product development for other markets. BMW, for example, has already made ABS standard for all its motorcycles for 2013.
