K1200LT I HAD THIS BIKE SINCE 18,000 ON THE CLOCK HAD NO TROUBLE WHATSOEVER ALWAYS RELIABLE ,REGULARLY WAS SERVICED AND MAINTAINED BY MYSELF AND VARIOUS MOTORBIKE GARAGES IN UK FRANCE AND GERMANY .ALWAYS GARAGED .2 KEYS .I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RIDE AS I USE TO SINCE SEPTEMBER 2015 DUE TO SHOULDER INJURY AND AGE,SO I HAVE TO DOWNGRADE TO A LIGHTER WEIGHT ,ALL THE ELECTRICAL PARTS ARE IN WORKING ORDER,BRAKE RELAYS WAS CHANGED FOR MOT BUT BMW GARAGE RECOMMEND THE BREAK SWITCHES TO BE CHANG TO RECTIFY THE STAYING ON BREAK LIGHT TO PASS MOT (RADIO ALL THE HEATERS E-SCREEN R-GEAR CRUISE CONTROL IN PERFECT CONDITION)HANDLE TO A TOP BOX IS BROCK SMALL SCRATCHES ON THE PANNIERS AND TOP BOX DUE TO STRAPPING TRAVEL BAGS AND TEAR ON RIDER'S SADDLE,SMALL SECTION NEXT TO CRASH BAR IS MISSING .CLUTCH WAS CHANGED AT 58,000 BE FOR ANY PROBLEM,NEW BMW SCREEN WAS FITTED AT 78,000 BECAUSE THE OLD ONE WAS NOT CLEAR. HIGH MILEAGE IS BECAUSE OF LONG DISTANCE TOURING,ON THIS BIKE YOU CAN GO FOR EVER IN COMFORT .I AM NOT A VERE OF ANY OTHER PROBLEM

New BMW World Superbike recruit, Marco Melandri has been using the Bavarian manufacturer's connection to Husqvarna to get himself a nice new motocross bike for the off-season. Melandri has been riding the Husky TC250 in preparation for the 2012 season, whilst the winter testing ban was in effect. Zero Motorcycles announced the addition of Pieter De Waal as the newest member of its board of directors. De Waal provides Zero with more than 30 years of experience in the automotive and motorcycle industries. Formerly of Nissan, Delta (General Motors), Mercedes Benz and, most recently, BMW, De Waal has experience dealing with many facets of the industry, from engineering to sales.

BMW earned its first-ever World Superbike race win at the U.K.’s Donington Park, but missed out on sweeping the round after teammates Leon Haslam and Marco Melandri crashed on the final corner while battling for the lead in the second race. Melandri earned BMW its landmark first win in Race One leading Haslam in a one-two finish. They could have repeated that finish in Race Two but Haslam low-sided after making contact with Honda‘s Jonathon Rea trying to pass on the inside.
