BMW K-Series description

Simple story: my son felt that this Bavarian princess was not quite the right bike for his cross-country trip (which will surely include some off-road time), so he asked me to sell this beautiful machine for him.

Here are the facts:

-arguably the finest sport-touring bike on the market
-she has been professionally maintained at Carolina BMW (Greensboro) and all records are available
-it is very fast (if you need it to be)
-it also cruises along a beach highway at 45 mph and still lets you hear the ocean
-it has a new clutch, battery, and final drive unit
-it has about 71,000 miles on it
-it sold for about $20,000 new
-it has removable hard case bags, a trunk, a fairing, and a new Aero Flow electric windshield ($405)
-the OEM windscreen is included
-heated seats and heated grips (new set of grips included)
-the rear tire has a good 80% tread life remaining and the front is new (Michelin)
-it has the $800 Electronic Ride Control system (ESA)
-twin Gerbing connectors (for heated clothing)
-center stand included
-it has a few scratches
-I'll throw in the cover and the Clymer shop guide (another $45)

Wed, 09 Oct 2013

The BMW 4 Series Convertible leaks ahead of an L.A. Debut The headline isn’t meant to suggest the roof of the new BMW 4 Series Cabriolet leaks; we’re sure it doesn’t. Capirex’s New Ride: the BMW M MotoGP Safety Car

Wed, 11 Apr 2012

Retired racer Loris Capirossi has been named BMW M MotoGP Expert, representing the official MotoGP safety car provider in the world championship. Since retiring from racing after the 2011 MotoGP season Capirossi has been serving as MotoGP’s Safety Adviser. That, plus his familiarity with the MotoGP paddock and its racing circuits, makes him the logical choice as an ambassador for BMW M, the German manufacturer’s racing-performance subsidiary.
