2006 BMW K1200 LT Excellent condition. Adult ridden and garaged with cover when not riding. Bike has 14,242 miles on it. 12,000 mile service performed at BMW Motorcyles.This bike is powered by a fuel injected 1172 cc engine with a 5 speed transmission and a reverse. It also comes with cruise control, ABS Brakes, heated seats for both rider and passenger. The passenger also has a heated backrest.Bike also has electric windshield, power center stand, GPS mount, an extremely loud Stebel horn, AM/FM radio and a CD player in the dash.There is also a set of Muddiman armrest for the passenger.Bike comes with one BMW key, a cover, manuals for bike and radio as well as a tool set. Tires are in very good condition.

BMW Begins Motorcycle Production in Thailand

BMW has opened a new motorcycle assembly line at the company’s factory in Thailand. The facility will initially only produce F800R roadsters from complete knock-down kits for the Thai market, though BMW plans to eventually make the facility a production hub for other Asian markets. The Thai facility is BMW’s first wholly-owned motorcycle assembly plant outside of Germany, though the company does share facilities in Manaus, Brazil with local manufacturer DAFRA Motos.

Enduro Legend Juha Salminen Announces Retirement

Finnish racer Juha Salminen announced his retirement from racing at the end of the 2013 World Enduro Championship, capping off a career that included 13 world championships and a record 96 World Enduro Championship wins. Only the great Giacomo Agostini holds more individual motorcycle racing world titles than Salminen with 15. “Enduro as a sport has given me a lot, but now it is time to move on to new challenges.
