BMW K-Series description
First sold 2008, super low milage 11330, modification done to eliminate the irritating chain sound on start up (as with all k1200/1300) never wrecked or dropped however got too low on a turn once and has easily repairable rash on 1 fairing (pictured) on rare occasions brake failure light stays on too long when starting to drive. Had the brakes serviced recently and no issues. Runs perfectly and like new…again 11300 miles! 2nd owner with 1st only driving it less than a year. Liver cancer / recovery is reason for possible sale although when I recover it will be replaced .

EICMA 2011 Preview: BMW Maxi-Scooters to Debut in Milan
Fri, 14 Oct 2011BMW will present its 2012 lineup at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan, Italy, but the centerpiece will be the company’s first maxi-scooters. The German manufacturer is expected to reveal two scooter models, both derived from the Concept C BMW unveiled at the 2010 EICMA show. The two scooters are expected to be powered by a version of the parallel Twin engine used in the F800R, but with a lower displacement in the 500cc-650cc range.
Husqvarna Reveals BMW G650GS-Engined Concept Strada
Tue, 29 Nov 2011Husqvarna unveiled a new streetbike model powered by the engine from parent company BMW’s G650GS. The Husqvarna Concept Strada was int4roduced in Paris at the Salon de la Moto show. Though Husqvarna is calling the supermoto-styled Strada a concept, but the new model is near production ready, with Husqvarna expecting to begin sales in 2012, possibly as a 2013 model.
Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care
Tue, 26 Mar 2013A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
