For sale is the hard to find color of Lava Orange Metallic, meticulously cared for, garage kept '09 BMW K1300S with only 5,379 miles! This machine is not even broken in yet. It has all recalls up to date and has been freshly serviced ~ needs nothing ~ just turn key and ride. This bike has every available factory option; ABS brakes, Anti-Slip Control (ASC), Quick Shift, Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) that allows for 3 different riding styles, Heated Hand Grips and On-Board Computer that includes tire pressure monitoring. BMW Sport Pannier Set (able to be expanded to fit a full face helmet) with storage bags with lock cylinder coded to ignition key ~ $1140 BMW Rear Luggage Carrier ~ $225 BMW Motorrad III Navigator GPS hard wired with cradle and cover. Charley Boorman’s BMW R1200 GS Adventure Stolen – and Recovered
Fri, 27 Apr 2012Adventure touring documentary star Charley Boorman and his BMW R1200GS Adventure have traveled a long way together, but the motorcycle had a bit of an adventure on its own after thieves stole the bike. The stolen BMW wasn’t the one Boorman rode with Ewen McGregor in “Long Way Round” (that was a R1150GS Adventure) or the one used in the sequel “Long Way Down“. Boorman did ride it on his last project, “Charley Boorman’s Extreme Frontiers: Canada”.

Further small, but welcome, design touches include stretch inserts, air vents, reflective panels, leather paneling on high-wear areas on the legs and a selection of internal and external waterproof pockets.
