BMW Other description

1990 BMW K75S, Accessories & Options: bar backs, Parrabellum fairing/tall screen, BMW luggage rack, BMW saddlebag mounts, tool kit, full fork boots, BMW fuel and temperature gauges installed in fairing sides, progressive fork springs and a updated rear stock BMW shock. Three keys included. We just installed the belly pan.Cosmetic Condition: good especially considering the age & miles, but there are some areas where paint is wearing thin and ita??s possible that a long time ago a few panels may have been repainted. It has strong curb appeal and presents well. Therea??s no current indication the bike was crashed or dropped and all alloy, hardware, wheels, etc look very good. Wheels actually look perfect and most original black driveline parts look excellent as well, but the fork legs show their age as most do being exposed to all the road debris right up front. We estimate it needs a rear disc (about $470 but just pads in VA) and fuel pump ($385) to get running and pass MD State Inspection.Mileage: 121,061 (odometer shows 110,463)

2014 BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy Announced

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

After holding three events in the southern hemisphere, the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy will go north in September 2014, to Canada. Billed as the GS riders’ Olympics, the biennial competition pits teams representing different countries against one another in a number of challenges testing their riding skills. Previous competitions had competitors riding the F800GS but for 2014, the GS Trophy will switch to the liquid-cooled R1200GS.

The solution to a pricey GPS mount

Wed, 26 Aug 2009

So you've gone out and bought your BMW R1200GS, you're ready to circumnavigate the globe's toughest roads - or ride over some potholes on your way to work - but you've got a dilemma: no way to mount your GPS device! So what you should do is exactly what this chap's done and use a spatula and a few rubber bands to mount-up your GPS for easy use. And the bonus is that when you get to where you're going, you can use the spatula with your BBQ and triple it up as a fly-swatter too.

2012 Piaggio X10 350i Review – First Ride

Mon, 23 Apr 2012

Back in 1993 Piaggio had developed the Hexagon, which became the world’s first so called GT scooter. Through the X7 to the all new X10, Piaggio has developed its new flagship scooter, and in Paris I got to sample the 350cc version of the X10. Piaggio will offer the X10 as a 125, 350 and 500cc version.
