2002 BMW K 1200 LT, K1200 LT 2nd owner and have owned it for the last 6yrs. The bike has always been garage kept and has been maintained professionally by trained techs.The equipment includes Radio,Cassette with a 6disc CD player/changer.ABS brake system (the best brakes than any other bike around) in my opinion..Electronic cruise control and on board computer. Heated seats front and rear with heated grips.I drive this bike to work 145 miles a day. Front wind shield new powers up and down, New brakes front and rear .Tires are still in great shape,but have already bought new ones that I will go with bike.This is the ultimate touring motorcycle by far.It has been serviced as required by BMW and truly a trouble free riding pleasure. BMW Maintains Sales Momentum into 2014
Tue, 11 Feb 2014After three straight years of record motorcycle sales, you’d think things would eventually start slowing down for BMW. Instead, the German manufacturer continues to roll on the throttle with an impressive start to 2014. BMW announced sales of 5,438 motorcycles and scooters in January, up from the 4,818 motorcycles sold in the same month in 2013.
BMW Sets New Annual Record for Motorcycle Sales – With One Month Still to Go
Mon, 09 Dec 2013BMW announced sales of 108,872 motorcycles and scooters, shattering last year’s company record for annual sales by 2.4%. Even more impressively, BMW reached that mark by the end of November and still has a whole month’s worth of sales to pad its record. In 2012, BMW sold 106,358 motorcycles and scooters to set a new company record.
Schaller Replacing von Kuenheim as Head of BMW Motorrad
Fri, 04 May 2012BMW is shuffling its management team, with current head of the its motorcycle business Hendrik von Kuenheim getting reassigned to the automotive side of the company. He will be replaced by Stephan Schaller on June 1 in a domino-effect series of reassignments. Pictured to the left in the picture above, Von Kuenheim has been in charge of the motorrad portfolio since 2008.
