BMW Sets February Sales Record With 18.3% Growth

BMW continues to set new motorcycle sales records, with an 18.3% year-on-year growth helping the company set a new benchmark for sales in February. The German manufacturer reported sales of 8,098 motorcycles and scooters in February, an impressive 18.3% increase over the 6,847 units sold in the same month last year. The record February followed another record in January which saw a year-on-year increase of 12.9%.

2014 BMW R1200GS Adventure Revealed

BMW has updated its R1200GS Adventure for 2014, giving it similar updates introduced on the R1200GS including the liquid-cooled 1170cc boxer engine. The more off-road capable version of the GS now has more power than ever before, as well as the option of coming with BMW’s semi-active suspension. Boxer Design Superbob Concept – 158 HP Turbocharged V-Twin

French firm Boxer Design has unveiled a new 1000cc turbocharged V-Twin concept model at the 2011 Salon de la Moto show in Paris. The Boxer Superbob is powered by a 88-degree V-Twin engine claiming 158 hp at 9500rpm and 92 ft-lb. of torque at 8000rpm.
