BMW Scooter News Imminent?

BMW previously announced it will unveil two new scooter models at this fall’s EICMA Show in Milan, but the German manufacturer may have some news for us even sooner. BMW‘s global media site has a new section set up for scooter news. The section is empty at the moment, except for a subsection titled “Scooter Technology”.

2014 BMW R1200GS Adventure Revealed

BMW has updated its R1200GS Adventure for 2014, giving it similar updates introduced on the R1200GS including the liquid-cooled 1170cc boxer engine. The more off-road capable version of the GS now has more power than ever before, as well as the option of coming with BMW’s semi-active suspension. I have had a little walk around checking out the preparations for the show. I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.
