It's a beautiful bike in good condition. I will also include in the sale, a brand new Bell Star helmet (also pictured) as well as two new tank bags with a scratch proof quick release attachment. I also have some custom parts that I will throw in. I have a beautiful carbon fiber rear fender, bar risers, a BMW factory rear wheel stand and a new battery tender. The bike starts on the 1st push of the starter and runs beautifully. It has warmed handlebar grips and ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM.

BMW Announces Winners of “Ride of Your Life” Tour Contest
Wed, 19 Dec 2012BMW Motorrad announced the winners of its “Ride of Your Life” contest, giving five people the chance to travel on a worldwide tour on the new R1200GS. The five winners are Stephanie Rowe, a 25-year-old enduro racer who works in the motorcycle accessories industry in the U.K., Herbert Unger, a 50-year-old German metal worker, Alessio Cigolini, an Italian who loves riding through Tuscany, Salvador Echevarrķa, a 41-year-old businessman from Spain, and Stephane Gautronneau, a 39-year-old fashion photographer from France. The five winners were selected for their sense of adventure, ability to work as part of a team and physical fitness by a panel of celebrities including actors Adrian Brody, Rick Yune and Charley Boorman and Paris-Dakar winner Jutta Kleinschmidt.
2014 BMW R1200RT Officially Recalled in US
Thu, 03 Jul 2014BMW has officially recalled the 2014 R1200RT in the U.S., after the company released a worldwide warning to customers about a potential defect with the rear suspension system. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the piston rod on the R1200RT’s Dynamic Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) rear shock absorber may break without warning. The problem was first discovered April 1 after a warranty claim was filed in France.
EICMA 2013: 2014 BMW S1000R Revealed

Follow the rest of our 2013 EICMA show coverage The 999cc inline-Four engine has been retuned for low- to mid-range performance, with redesigned cylinder head ducts, modified cam profiles, updated engine management and a 2000 rpm reduction in the rev limit. BMW claims a peak output of 158 hp at 11000 rpm, compared to the S1000RR’s 193 hp claims.
