2008 BMW R 1200 GS, 2008 BMW R1200GS, beautiful condition, ABS, GPS, heated grips, 24,105 miles. This is a gorgeous example of the almighty R1200GS. It has been impeccably maintained from new by one owner. It has just over 24,000 miles and it just had its 24,000 mile scheduled maintenance, at which time it got new tires installed. It is set up with ABS brakes, heated grips, BMW expandable hard saddlebags and top case, an R1200GS Adventure seat, factory Garmin GPS, engine protection bars, and enormous PIAA lights. It runs and rides absolutely perfectly with enough snap to make the front wheel come off the ground without trying too hard. This beast is ready to attack whatever terrain you put in front of it. Wed, 02 Apr 2014

A notice to any potential law breakers out there: Victory is getting in on the police bike business. Using stock Cross Country models modified with only lights and sirens, the Victorys may not be as ill-equipped for chases (at least slow speed, parking lot chases) as you might think. Just check out this video below for proof.

WSBK 2013: Portimao Race Report

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).
