Lowering is now available as an option for the F 800 GS, too. So in conjunction with the low seat, this means it is possible to create a seat height of 32.3 inches. Meanwhile, ABS as standard, ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) and the optional ASC (traction control) ensure the familiar degree of comfort and the necessary safety. The F 800 GS comes in three exciting colour variants: Kalamata metallic, Alpine White 3 and Cordoba Blue. BMW Motorrad Days 2013 Draws 40,000 Visitors

More than 40,000 Beemerphiles made their way to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, for BMW Motorrad Days on July 5-7. The 13th annual event at the Bavarian resort town saw visitors from more than 40 countries join together to celebrate BMW motorcycles. This year’s event was particularly notable for the 90th anniversary of motorcycles bearing the Bavarian Motor Works brand.

New naked BMW spotted on track days

The future generation of the "1-liter" naked BMW S1000R was spotted during the development tests on the territory of the German racing "ring" Oschersleben. Apparently, the Bavarian streetfighter will receive a number of technical solutions that his older brother, the BMW S1000RR, was endowed with a couple of years ago. Just as the current generation of the SR was created on the base of the previous SR-era, the 2017 modification will actually become a stripped version of today's sportbike.

I’d like to ramble on about a dozen different things relating to this video, but the 3- minute, 19-second clip speaks for itself. However, once the engine is revving at high rpm, watching the cams, finger followers and valve springs seemingly freeze in action due to the incredible speeds, I was reminded of that whole “Dude, the faster I went the more everything around me seemed to slow down,” experience we’ve all heard about or experienced.
