2012 BMW R 1200 GS ADVENTURE, 2012 BMW 1200 GS Adventure, 5800 miles as of now, $1550 add on includes factory BMW side luggage with after market top luggage, extra BMW factory low seat, handle grip cruise control, crash bar side shields with R1200GSA logo, headlight guard, oil cooler guard with R1200GS logo and a Bags connection tank bag. It has a almost 9 gallon gas tank which will go 400 miles before refueling, it gets about 50 miles per gallon gas on freeway. We rode it on vacation the last 2 years and rode the Blue Ridge Parkway this year. Never had any issues and is still under factory warranty. It looks new and never been down and always stored inside and is scratch free. Tires are good with good tread. I would trust this bike to head around the world on today. Cash only. BMW Starts Production of C Evolution Electric Scooter
Fri, 04 Apr 2014The first C Evolution electric scooters have rolled off the line at BMW‘s main motorcycle production plant in Berlin, Germany. The result of three and a half years of development, the BMW C Evolution scooter is the company’s two-wheeled foray into electric vehicles. The C Evolution shares the same lithium-ion battery module as the BMW i3 electric car.
Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released
Wed, 18 Jan 2012The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.
Latest on my S1000RR
Mon, 04 Oct 2010Not sure what's going on with the sound in this vid, but it calms down after a minute - sorry! As my long term BMW S1000RR does most of its miles working hard on track days, I felt an early 6000 mile service might be a good idea. A quick phone call to my local dealer (the friendly and efficient Pidcocks) saw my bike in the workshop the following week and back in my hands by lunchtime.
