2014 BMW R1200RT Spied Testing
Thu, 21 Mar 2013With the new 2013 BMW R1200GS now launching worldwide, it really should be no surprise BMW is working on more models using the GS’s new liquid-cooled boxer engine. A contributor to French site MotoMag happened upon a crew of test riders on heavily camouflaged test mules of what appears to be the 2014 BMW R1200RT. The swirly camo pattern does little to hide the new “precision cooling” liquid-cooled engine, easily identified by the pipes exiting from the bottom of the cylinders.

Guests arrive from the 12th February with the final riders leaving on the 7th March. Spyder Club will be based in a villa above the village of Casabermeja and are running a total of 5 trips, each for 6 participants, during that time.The £800 asking price for the short break includes bike hire, accommodation, fuel and food. Tue, 07 Jun 2011Ever since Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman rode their BMW’s around the world it seems anyone with a ‘GS’ has an open ticket to ride around the world and then write about it. And fair enough, if I could afford the bike and the trip then I’d be gone as well. Obviously, BMW reaped the rewards when Ewan and Charlie showcased what their GS could really do, changing BMW’s image from solid but stuffy, to solid and cool overnight.
