It's an extremely comfortable bike to ride with very impressive fuel milage for a bike this size! It averages just over 50mpg around town and up to the low 40s on the highway. It accelerates from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 122.41 mph. Its a water cooled, 1172cc, InLine - four with a DUAL OVERHEAD CAM. Their are many bells and whistles on this model which include: cruise control, hand and seat warmers, electric winshield, cd system with six disc cd changer, radio, cassette player, 6.34 gallon fuel tank, automatic start and lots of lockable storage. Odometer reads only 26,000mis which equates to just over 2,160mis of use per year. This bike has been very well cared for. Its a beautiful blue in color with silver and black accents. Dainese to Develop Airbag-Equipped Riding Gear for BMW; Technology Coming to BMW Motorcycles in 2015

BMW announced a new joint project with Dainese that would develop a new line of rider equipment using the Italian company’s integrated airbag technology. The two companies will also be working on integrating the technology to BMW’s motorcycles. The new line will make use of Dainese’s D-Air technology developed by MotoGP racers such as Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi.

BMW Maintains Sales Momentum into 2014

After three straight years of record motorcycle sales, you’d think things would eventually start slowing down for BMW. Instead, the German manufacturer continues to roll on the throttle with an impressive start to 2014. BMW announced sales of 5,438 motorcycles and scooters in January, up from the 4,818 motorcycles sold in the same month in 2013.
