BMW R-Series description

 2007 GSA up for grabs.
Big plans for the bike but things in life change.
Bought this with 1300 miles, prepped it for the big ride and plans had to change.
Bike has been ridden lightly for the initial break in, now showing 3050 some miles on the odometer. Never off road.
Put one the Touratech panniers, the top box I bought used but is in fine shape.
Has most every guard on it possible, all Touratech :
O2 sensors guards and TPS guards not installed but in the pannier, still in their bags.
All 3 reservoirs guards, front fender extender, BMW tank bag, GPS mount, PIAA's , fog lights, side stand bigfoot, very cool Adventure box that fits between the right pannier and the frame.
Bike is in fantastic shape wherever you look at it and runs like a charm. Left it idling on the side stand and it fell over once (made me feel like a fool) and it scratched the cylinder guard and hand guard a bit, only light scratches.
New set of Continental TKC tires, never mounted on a rim.
Bike is locked and loaded to go anywhere. Clear title ready to be transferred. Virginia inspection till sept. 14.
I am overseas and cannot be present to show it but it is available to be seen any day.    Ask any questions you seem fit.

BMW Design Chief David Robb Steps Down; Edgar Heinrich Named Successor

Mon, 30 Jan 2012

David Robb, the man responsible for BMW‘s split-face motorcycle design, has left the German manufacturer. A native of Boston, Mass., Robb joined BMW as its design chief in 1993, and over the ensuing 18 years expanded the company’s product line to include the top selling R1200GS, the six-cylinder K1600GT and GTL, and the S1000RR superbike (that’s him on the far right in the picture above). The 56-year-old’s latest design to enter production are the C600 Sport and C650GT maxi-scooters.

2014 WSBK – Phillip Island Results

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.

Man Sues BMW for Causing Persistent Erection

Fri, 27 Apr 2012

A man is suing BMW and seat-manufacturer Corbin-Pacific because a four-hour motorcycle ride gave him an erection that would not go away. The civil suit, filed in the Superior Court of California in San Francisco, alleges the plaintiff, Henry Wolf, developed a severe case of priapism after a long ride on a 1993 BMW motorcycle. Priapism is a medical condition where a penis becomes erect and does not return to a flaccid state.
