I got this 90/6 with a Jawa side car rig so that I could take my dog with me to go riding and would not have to leave him at home by himself. That worked for about a year and now he won't get in it any more. So, it is for sale. The rig is in very good mechanical condition but only fair cosmetically. The tires are OK as far as tread goes but they are old enough that they should be replaced. The paint is beginning to wear off on the front fender (see pics) and there are some rust spots here and there on some of the nuts and bolts. It has a new battery that I installed about 6 mos ago and it is kept on a trickle charger. The battery is a modern AGM and just enough smaller than OEM so that it can be removed EASILY instead of the need to disassemble part of the bike with OEM. Starts right up if it has been run recently, takes a shot of starter fluid if it has been sitting for awhile.

BMW Canada however may have let slip pricing for the C650GT: CA$11,900 BMW Motorrad Canada is holding a contest to give away a C650GT, and the contest rules list the scooter’s MSRP. Of course, the $11,900 price tag is subject to change, especially as the scooter isn’t expected to arrive in Canada until late 2012 as a 2013 model.

BMW C650GT and C600 Sport Recalled for Faulty Timing Chain Tensioner
Tue, 27 May 2014BMW has initiated a recall on 2012-2014 C600 Sport and C650GT scooters because of a problem with their timing chain tensioners. As of this writing, recalls have been announced in Canada and Germany but not for the U.S., though we expect the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will announce a similar recall shortly.
