Limited Edition 2012 BMW R1200GS ABS Tom Luthi Announced for Switzerland

It is unusual when that racer doesn’t compete on one that manufacturer’s machines though. Nevertheless, Interwetten Racing‘s Thomas Luthi, who rides a Honda-powered Suter machine in the Moto2 World Championship is a BMW brand ambassador, and thus, the German manufacturer has produced a limited edition R1200GS in his name.
2013 BMW R1200GS Deliveries Delayed to Fix Suspension Issue
Mon, 04 Mar 2013BMW has reportedly delayed delivers of the revamped R1200GS in Italy to correct a problem with its Telelever front suspension. According to Motociclismo.it, BMW discovered a problem where the Telelever meets the steering plate. BMW reportedly has a fix, but it requires some special tooling.
V.I.P treatment for first Dainese D-Air customers
Fri, 08 Jul 2011To celebrate the release of the D-Air race suit in the UK, Dainese are offering the first 20 customers to order a complete V.I.P treatment at the upcoming World Superbike round at Silverstone. The iconic safety brand will have each of the customer's suits personally tailored, with measurements undertaken by a Dainese D-Air engineer from the factory in Italy. Following this, the first 20 customers to register will receive a hospitality lunch, garage tours of the Aprilia, BMW and Kawasaki teams with the opportunity to meet the Dainese riders and rub well protected shoulders with the big names of the WSB paddock.
