BMW's introduction to the US touring market brought us this reengineered R1200CLC Cruiser style Touring bike that once I saw I knew I had to have. Trading in my R1200C I bought this bike and it's been providing my wife and I with nothing but fantastic riding. The CLC model was only offered for a few years with 2004 being the last. There isn't a single time when I take this bike out that someone doesn't stop to ask me about it. Everything on it is factory, right out of the box, and it turns heads as if it were a custom.
Standard equipment on the CLC includes: BMW EVO full integral ABS braking system, stainless steel exhaust system, 5-position mechanical front spring preload adjuster, side stand with starter interlock, jump-start connection point, low-beam headlamp height adjustment, mirror incorporated turn signals, 2 position Heated Hand Grips, Telelever Suspension, Cruise Control, Heated Seats, AM/FM/CD Player (Standard), Motorrad GPS, and much... much... more.

BMW Sets February Sales Record With 18.3% Growth
Tue, 11 Mar 2014BMW continues to set new motorcycle sales records, with an 18.3% year-on-year growth helping the company set a new benchmark for sales in February. The German manufacturer reported sales of 8,098 motorcycles and scooters in February, an impressive 18.3% increase over the 6,847 units sold in the same month last year. The record February followed another record in January which saw a year-on-year increase of 12.9%.
2014 WSBK Provisional Entry List – 27 Riders and 9 Manufacturers
Thu, 30 Jan 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The provisional list includes 27 riders riding motorcycles from nine different manufacturers. Of these riders, 12 are riding in the new EVO sub-category which limits engine upgrades and electronics to Superstock class rules.

Although most motorcyclists have little use for wintry weather, autumn is a truly beautiful time of year to ride. Granted, the days become shorter and the wind colder, but navigating your way through winding roads amid the vibrant colors of changing leaves is enough of a reward within itself.
