1967 Lightning 650 on 2040-motos
BSA Lightning 650 description
1967 BSA Lightning 650 for sale. Third owner. I've owned the bike since September 1970. Odometer shows 1030 miles, but it didn't work for a few years and definitely has less than 7000 miles.
Bike runs well and has never been wrecked. Tank has a small, dime sized dent on the left side. BSA badges are cracked on both sides. Chrome is in decent shape for it's age, but has some pitting and flaking. It was repainted in the early 1970's. Tires are Continentals, in good shape, although rear tire has more wear than the front. Included are the original type Dunlop tires with innertubes. All numbers match on frame and engine and it has a clean title.
Asking $3650 but will listen to reasonable offers. Email me at seohiostuff@hotmail.com if you have any questions. If you want to see more photos, there are an additional 10 on it's listing at britcycle.com

The Steve McQueen Desert Racer
Tue, 24 Mar 2009There are few motorcycle icons within pop culture that have endured as vividly as that of the late, great Steve McQueen. A man who was at one time the highest paid actor in Hollywood, he avoided the limelight in favor of immersing himself within his passion for motorcycles. Never afraid of getting dirty, McQueen was at his happiest flogging a bike around the track with fellow racers or tinkering with the machines himself.
