Bobber Bobber description

This is a custom built bike, S&S lower end on the V-Twin motor, 97" axtell jugs are bored out and 10:1 pistons with a hopped up cam.  This bike moves quickly, lots of torque and well balanced.  Breaks have been gone through and stops on a dime.  Ultima 3" open primary (slight crack in the belt but it hasn't affected it any).  16" new handlebars, new 3" extended forward controls, New Rich Phillips custom leather seat and pad with gel.  Tires have less than 200 miles on them.  It's a true hardtail with a wide glide front end, but it rides nice, I rode it to Sturgis before we rebuilt it, and it wasn't bad at all.  New Speis Hecker paint, expensive paint job.  Paughco upswept pipes.  I am the original owner, and have less than 20 miles on the restoration with new parts. No turn signals on this bike as that is legal here in Iowa, but it does have a rear and plate light, high and low beam front.  Horn is not hooked up but I have one.  It's set up for someone that is 6' tall or taller.  You can buy the same controls with no extension if you like, and I can telll you where I got these so it will fit you if shorter than 6' tall.  This bike was built by a fella that has been building bikes for 30 years, and does quality work.  We road it and made final adjustments to the brakes and clutch.  She's all ready to go!

Buyer responsible for shipping, or I can help for a fee.  50% down upon end of sale, due in 24 hours.  Balance in full with in 3 days from time of sale.  No refunds, all sales are final.  Sold as is, where it is.

Please don't lowball the price, I need to get part of what I have in it, and I'm letting it go at this price to sell it quickly, I have much more than that in the bike.  I'm selling because I need the money for my business.  I will build another one someday.

Gladstone Motorcycles to Produce Bespoke British Bobbers

Tue, 16 Jul 2013

Television presenter Henry Cole has ridden countless motorcycles as host of the British Travel Channel’s “World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides” program for 11 series, but he’ll soon be introducing a line of motorcycles of his own with his new Gladstone Motorcycles company. Named for Cole’s great-great-uncle, four-time British Prime Minister William Ewart Gladstone, the new firm will produce limited runs of hand-built bespoke motorcycles. The company’s first model will be the Gladstone No.

The Harbortown Bobber DVD Review

Fri, 22 Jan 2010

On the surface, The Harbortown Bobber by One World Studios Ltd. is a documentary about the build/restoration of a bobber bike owned by Scott Di Lalla, co-founder of One World, and co-producer/co-director of Harbortown. However, what I took away from the 75-minute DVD was that the film is less about the skeletal remains of a ’69/’71 Triumph rising from the ashes, and more about the people (characters in a film for sure!) that help Scott along the way to realizing his dream of breathing life into a bobber of his own.
