2005 Buell Firebolt on 2040-motos
Buell Firebolt tech info
Buell Firebolt description
I am the second owner of this awesome bike. The bike was manufactured in
April of 2005 and bought by a gentlemen in Illinois. I bought it from
him May 16th 2008 with 2719 miles on it. The bike looks as good as new
still to this day. The best part about this bike is the factory
installed Harley Davidson race kit! This kit was discontinued by Harley
because of it not passing emission and noise tests I believe. So because
of this the factory race kit is very rare. Trust me when I say it makes
the bike. And is the only reason I drove all the way to Illinois to buy
it. This race package I understand was nearly two thousand extra over
the sticker price of the bike. The race package includes a complete
header and muffler exhaust system, upgraded air filter, and a racing
tuned program flashed to the computer. So other than the race package it
pretty much hasn't been modified much. I've upgraded the handle grips
with authentic buell grips. I have frame slider/pucks that I've never
installed that's included. I did a breather mod to it which helps when
running low rpms and I've saved all the parts to take is back to stock
(if desired). I had a 3/4" gel and 1/2" memory foam pad instaled in the
driver's seat. I'll also include a bolt down bike stand that is nice to
use in the garage or trailer, a motorcycle cover, and a tank bag. I've
taken very good care of this bike. It wasn't my first bike nor has it
been raced or wrecked. I've always stored it in a heated garage in the
winters. It has a newer battery and has a quick connect for a battery
tender already installed. So to why I'm selling it. I've owned the bike
for 8 years, I bought it when I was single, now I'm married and have one
child so far. I have next to no time to ride it. Last year I put less
that 300 miles on it. Now that my son is getting some bigger outside
toys there is just not any room. I have the title in hand and will
accept cash or certified check. I'm not interested in any trades. With
only 7163 mile you know this bike has been well taken care of. Well I
think thats about all I have to tell you about it so I'll let the bike
speak for itself.

EBR First American Sportbike To Score Points In WSBK, Makes History
Fri, 18 Jul 2014The EBR 1190RX had its best finish to date in the FIM Superbike World Championship (WSBK) series during the only US round at Laguna Seca in Salinas, Calif., this past weekend. In an exciting twist, the wild card entry of Larry Pegram running the #72 Foremost Insurance/EBR/AMSOIL/Hero entry garnered a 14th place finish in the second race, earning the first-ever WSBK points for an American motorcycle manufacturer. [In actuality, Pegram's EBR crossed the line in 16th place. However, the two Bimota BB3 entries who finished eighth and ninth with riders Ayrton Badovini and Christian Iddon, respectively, have had their finishes nullified all season because Bimota has not met the FIM's homologation requirements.
