Buell Firebolt description

Up for sale is my 2005 Buell XB12R. Let me preface this post by saying I have absolutely no dire need to sell this, and I absolutely don't need help selling it.
With that out of the way here are the specs on the bike.
-it started out black and orange XB12R
-has hero blue wheels, air box and wind screen
-tail has been swapped over to an S tail with an integrated tail light/turn signals/plate light
-I do have the stock XB12R tail frame. You would just have to buy plastics and seat to convert it back.
-the odometer isn't the original mileage. This isn't some scam, I am not trying to pull a fast one. The original odometer quit working and it was either pay hundreds of dollars for a new one and have it programmed or pay $90 for a used one. I went the used route. Approximate mileage is around 25,000.
-bike has HID high and low beams
-tires have less than 150 miles
- good PA inspection
- also have full buell bag set including saddle bags and tail bag.

RoboCop Remake Has RoboCop Riding A Motorcycle

Mon, 15 Oct 2012

The semi-futuristic 1987 film, “RoboCop,” starring actor Peter Weller, told the tale of fatally injured Detroit cop effectively resurrected to life, but in the form of mostly metal, cyborg-like being. RoboCop was the ultimate crime-fighting tool, and the public loved the premise of the movie to the tune of two sequels, lots of merchandising and even a short-lived television series. “RoboCop” has been resurrected again, the film that is, and is currently shooting in Toronto according to the Daily Mail. And as you can see by these images from the Daily Mail, RoboCop is now fighting crime on two wheels.

Erik Buell Featured on Entrepreneur.com

Sat, 25 Feb 2012

Entrepreneur.com, the web presence of Entrepreneur magazine, has a feature article on Erik Buell and his Erik Buell Racing (EBR) company. While the article reveals some lack of knowledge of the two-wheeled world by overusing the term “crotch rocket” as the generic description for sportbikes, this is forgivable considering it’s coming from a publication specializing in small businesses and, well, entrepreneurs, and not motorcycles. The article otherwise does a good job of giving a brief but broad synopsis of Buell and the triumphs and tragedies encountered with BMC (Buell Motorcycle Company) — it’s a good primer on Buell if you’re not fully up to speed on Buell’s life in motorcycles.

Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.
