Buell Thunderbolt description

I present to you an original 1998 Buell S3T. All recalls were done by a Harley dealer. The bike was owned by my father prior to me and purchased from a dealership in Colorado Springs new by my uncle. Oil and filer are changed religiously every year, Rocker box gasket was recently replaced. The tires are new as of this spring. They have less than 500 miles on them. It's a great rare bike. Runs like a dream. The paint on the tank is rough as you can see. Almost all of these did this and had to be repainted due to the material used to manufacture the tank. There is a small hole in the right side saddlebag which is shown in the pictures. It has been well cared for and garage stored for its lifetime.

One and Done: Daytona 200 Winning Project 1 Atlanta Folds

Thu, 05 Apr 2012

Apparently winning isn’t enough to pay the bills any more, not even if the victory comes at the storied Daytona 200. The 2012 Daytona 200-winning Project 1 Atlanta team has folded after unable to secure funding for the rest of the season. Project 1 Atlanta, and racer Joey Pascarella, stunned AMA Pro Racing fans with a Cinderella story victory at the Daytona 200.

EBR Nation Part 2: “Fingertips” [Video]

Wed, 27 Jul 2011

Erik Buell Racing has released the second part in a series of videos about its 1190RS superbike. Dubbed “Fingertips”, the latest episode examines the RS’s agility, with AMA racer Geoff May comparing the 1190cc motorcycle’s handling to a bike with half the displacement. The series has been interesting so far, though it could probably be better if they toned down the video effects and didn’t edit the dialogue into a series of short sound bites.

This weekend, the AMA Pro Roadracing circus makes its way to Road America for round two of the series. Before festivities on track get started, however, here’s your chance to meet Dainese-sponsored rider Geoff May as the D-Store Chicago will be hosting a meet and greet on Thursday, May 30, starting at 4pm. The event will include raffle prizes, with proceeds benefitting W.I.N.G.S., an organization providing integrated services to families, in an effort to end domestic violence and homelessness.
