Buell Thunderbolt tech info
Buell Thunderbolt description
Buell S3 Thunderbolt: Tube frame, Fuel injected Thunderstorm 1205 motor, PM rims, newer Dunlop tires, recent battery, Vance & Hines exhaust, Hypercharger....
This isn't a bike for the inexperienced rider, it's light, tremendously powerful and has an instant bang off the throttle at any place in the rpm scale unlike high rev bikes. For those who are experienced, this bike is a visceral experience, an absolute party to ride. There's nothing quite like it. The flaws: Has some scratches & nicks, including a major one on the tank that has been covered with some touch up paint (shown in pictures). The original Buell dash clock disappeared, no idea where it is or how it vanished. I do not have the original Airbox. Brake handle is not original, the original was bent from the p.o. and I replaced it with an aftermarket adjustable one. Ri is a no title state for vehicles over 15 years old, so there currently is no title I believe I can get one for a fee. The Good: runs like a top, totally reliable, everything works perfectly and it' could travel cross country right now. It's an incredibly low mileage example of a brilliant machine. |

The story behind the 2010 Buell Blast Motorcycle [video]
Wed, 05 Aug 2009If you haven’t heard, or have seen the new 2010 Buell Blast, you should check it out before viewing the video below. Buell has re-branded itself over the last month or so and have been taking a very close look at themselves. Not only did they change their logo, but they decided to put to rest a motorcycle that just didn’t fit what they really wanted to be making. Sport bikes. So the 2010 Buell Blast is a crushed hunk of metal signifying the end of that model. There will be no Blast in the future so don’t hold your breath!
