We just traded in this sweeet 2012 RS-S SE5 Can Am Spyder Roadster on a new Can Am Spyder F3. It is a one owner bike. sold and serviced here from new, so we know its whole service history! It is a close to perfect in condition as any used bike can be, with no known cosmetic or mechanical issues whatsoever. The color is called Can Am Red, but to the whole world Can Am red looks orange in person. Her previous owner Ed took great care of her, and he added a few accessories which really make it a comfortable ride. Ed added the rider footboards, ($175), the ultra touring windscreen with knee wind deflectors ($389), the rear sportrack ($450) with backrest ($320), 3" handlebar risers ($200) and the premium comfort seat ($510). That's over $2000 worth of accessories! It makes the RS a much more comfortable tourer! The bike itself features the powerful 990cc water cooled, fuel injected Rotax v twin mated to a 5 speed semi automatic (push button shift, no clutch!) with reverse. It has ABS brakes, stability control system (VSS), power steering and the good Fox suspension which the "S" package provides. Like all Spyders, it has generous storage in the front nose for the distance traveler. That's it, buy it and ride it home! Serious bidders only, bid to win. 2008-2012 Can-Am Spyders Recalled for Fire Risk
Tue, 18 Dec 2012Bombardier Recreational Products has initiated two recalls in Canada on Can-Am Spyder Roadsters for a risk of fire due to a leaky gas cap. One recall covers certain units from model years 2008-2012, which covers all prior model years since the three-wheeler was first introduced in 2008. The second recall applies to model years 2008-2010.

The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
