Can-Am SPYDER description

I am unfortunately selling this Spyder as I just purchased it in December.  My first Spyder was a 2013 RT and my wife and I rode it a great deal, mostly several trips from Ohio to Florida.  We upgraded to the RT-S and this much improved version with the 1330cc engine and 6 speed transmission.  It has all the standard equipment plus the semi-automatic transmission and Factory GPS. It also has the remainder of a 3 year warranty.

We had great plans for this Spyder but an unfortunate family situation has greatly limited our ride time.  As described, it only has 446 miles and 100 of these is the ride home from the dealer.  We have been limited to a few short rides this summer and long vacation trips are out of the question for the foreseeable future.

Rather that have it sit in the garage and depreciate, I have made the decision to sell.  It is in new condition with the exception of a small scratch/scuff by the right passenger hand-hold as shown in the pictures.  I know by selling in the first year of ownership that I am taking a big hit by depreciation but I want someone to enjoy it and I think I have it very fairly priced.  I don't  want to deal with multiple re-listings, etc.

Feel free to contact me with questions but please, serious inquiries only and no insulting offers or asking to go around eBay.

There is also a full cover that goes with it.

Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show

Mon, 28 Sep 2009

Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
