Can-Am SPYDER RT-S description

This Spyder has just a little over 3000 miles and is in excellent condition. I have documents showing I took it in for the 3000 mile Break-In Inspection and maintenance. Neither of the two previous owners were into touring. Almost all the miles were ridden in and about small town Kerrville, Texas. Both owners (older guys of 60 plus) found the Spyder to be an expensive toy for just city touring. Fun but expensive. Original purchase was just under $30,000. I purchased it a month ago and decided it's not for me either (I'm only 78). Besides my wife hates the Cognac color which I really like. For the price I am asking someone is getting a real good buy. This is a no reserve listing , you bid it, it's yours. Notice the Spyder Trailer in the pictures, I will load the Spyder on the trailer and deliver it for free anywhere in Texas. Questions? Email me through eBay, give a phone number and we'll communicate.

There are several reviews for this RT-S Spyder on the net and I will be glad to provide web addresses for them if requested.  If you are not familiar with the Spyder, I recommend you search the Web concerning its performance. You won't be disappointed in it if you are into touring. I have found it to be the most fun and safe motorcycle you can tour on.   .

The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.

Will The Bombardier Trailtrike Make Trikes Cool?

Thu, 11 Jul 2013

Charles Bombardier, creator of the highly controversial Can-Am Spyder and grandson of the man who invented the snowmobile, thinks he has an idea to make trikes cool. It’s a tall order, considering most motorcycling circles banish three-wheelers as some kind of second class device, not worthy of mingling with true two wheelers. While Bombardier’s Trailtrike still has two wheels in front and one in back, he tells Popular Science the difference is that the Trailtrike can be ridden both on- and off-road.

Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show

Mon, 28 Sep 2009

Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
