Chopper Chopper description

2007 Orange County Chopper Web Bike Prototype that was built on "American Chopper" the series on the Discovery Channel.  This is THE REAL DEAL actual bike that was built on the show; this is NOT a production web bike!  The bike was hand fabricated and built by the cast of the show Paul Teutul Jr., Paul Teutul Sr., Mikey Teutul, Vincent DiMartino, Jason Pohl,  Rick Petko, & Michael Amorati.  The story behind the bike is that I purchased the bike from the gentleman who originally won the bike in the "Rolling with The Teutuls" Sweepstakes.  The premise of the sweepstakes was that Paul Sr. would have a bike build off against Paul Jr. to see who could build the better bike.  The shows aired on the forth season of "American Chopper" on episodes five & six "Sr. verses Jr. 2" (can be viewed on Netflix).  Junior built the "Web Bike" and Senior built the "Greenie".  At the conclusion of the build off the two bikes would be judged by the fans and the winner would become the third OCC production bike.  The build off the bikes were shipped to Fort Lauderdale where five randomly chosen contestants would have the opportunity to win the bike built on the show.  After the winning bike was declaired "The Web Bike" they brought up the five lucky fans to the stage to pick one of five keys; only one of which would start the bike and declare the new owner of the Chopper.  The winner was the fourth person to attempt to start the bike guaranteeing him ownership of the Web Bike Prototype.  The winner was not allowed to take possesion of the bike immediatly as the show had not aired and they did not want the him driving the bike around before the show aired.  Also the bike was scheduled for two high end television shows to publicize the show.  The bike was then shipped back to New York City where it was brought along with Paul Sr. & Paul Jr. onto the David Letterman show as well as the Regis Philbin show.  Once all of the formalities were over the bike was delivered to the winner.  As the weather was still cool in New York the winner decided to loan the bike out to the Northeast Classic Car Museum where it remained until the warmer months (During the time they had the bike on property the Northeast Classic Car Museum recorded record high attendance).  Over the next several years the bike as enjoyed and about 2800 miles where riden on the chopper.  This attests to the road worthiness of the vehicle as it was produced not only for it's looks but it was also produced to be a reliable motorcycle.

The bike is currently in great condition (some very minor wear; perfect mechanically) however as you will see in the photos the original paint has been change to a Flat Black Metalic Flake Paint with the graphics limited to the front fender.  The bike can be brought back to it's original condition as the original artist "NUB" is still in business and says that he can reproduce the original graphics for $3750.  I considered the investment however I truly like the cleaner look of the bike in it's current condition.  The bike also has an autographed seat with many of the "American Chopper" cast members signatures.  The signatures include Paul Sr. Paul Jr. & Mikey Teutul, as well as several other cast members (pic included).  The original cost of the bike was $75,000; I included in the pictures the original bill of sale signed by Paul Teutul Sr.

Onto the BIKE!

The bike differs substancially from the production bike as only the finest parts were used or hand fabricated for the Prototype bike however in an effort to keep the costs down on the production bike they cut back on many parts.  For example the engine in the Prototype is a 117" S&S however they decided to go with a 100" S&S in the production model.  The examples continue from the hand welded tank by Rick Petko to another obvious distinction the hand fabricated rear view mirrors in comparison to cheaper mass produced mirrors used on the production model.

The bike is a dream to ride; very comfortable and easy on the back due to the 5th element suspension.  It sounds just as good as it looks due to the Vance & Hines Big Radius Exhaust.  The bike gets looks everywhere I go!  I cannot stop without several people coming up to admire the bike; it is not uncommon for crowds to build around the bike.  This is truly a collector bike that will only increase in value over time.  I have plenty of documentation proving that this is the original prototype web bike built on the show.  If you have any questions or need any additional proof please let me know and I will get back to you quickly.

I have 100% Positive Feedback and have been a member of Ebay since 1999.  This is the real deal; if you bid on the bike please have the money ready to purchase the bike.  I am more than willing to assist with local or worldwide transportation once the vehicle is paid for in full.  Clear Title in Hand!

Introducing I.R.I.S., the Lococycle, the Artificially Intelligent Motorcycle Assassin

Fri, 15 Mar 2013

Austin, Texas, based Twisted Pixel is developing a new video game featuring a sassy sentient motorcycle martial artist racing down highways and fighting an army of jetpack-equipped special agents. Yes, that sounds pretty silly, but it’s clear Twisted Pixel’s upcoming “LocoCycle” doesn’t take itself too seriously. That being said, the game looks to be quite fun.
