Chopper Chopper description

Resisted with a lowered reserve!

Up for auction is my custom frame rigid chopper.  This bike was professionally built here in Texas, many hours have been spent on attention to detail and fabrication to give it a clean, basic appearance while remaining street legal and  reliable as a daily driver. It has a fresh 100" RevTech engine, new five-speed left drive tranny and 3" open primary with less than 100 break-in miles on it. New Metzler rubber (21" front, 200x17" rear) and all new tins, brake lines and cables.
This bike honestly needs nothing but a new owner!  It has a great tune on it and the shorty drag pipes have a great, distinctive tone. Not built as a show bike or "trailer queen", this bike was built to be a reliable driver. It runs and drives great. Feel free to email any questions you may have. It is a clear Texas  title (actually titled as a '52 HD- long story).  Also, the bike is listed locally so I do reserve the right to end the auction if necessary.

Thanks for looking and happy BIDDING!

Motorcycle.com on “American Chopper”: Senior vs. Junior vs. Jesse James

Mon, 05 Dec 2011

The infamous “American Chopper” TV juggernaut rolls on, with a two-hour special to be broadcast tonight and culminating with a live event on Tuesday evening in Las Vegas. The interesting thing about this week’s shows is that I’m in Vegas as a guest critic of the builds, a three-team competition between Paul Teutul Senior, Paul Junior and the notorious Jesse James. Earlier today I got a chance to see the vehicles for the first time, and what a trio it is!

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Lawn-Mowing Motorcycle

Mon, 20 Apr 2009

I can’t count how many sunny Saturdays in my adult life I have spent lamenting the fact that yard work took precedent over being able to spend the entire day out riding my motorcycle.  Well, instead of wasting time dreaming, a farmer and motorcycle enthusiast managed to find a way to fix this problem by converting an old worn out ride on lawnmower into a chopper that actually, chops. Powered by a 17.5 HP Briggs and Stratton motor, the bike was constructed with the help of an old bed frame, an aluminum running board and parts from two old bikes. Now instead of choosing between going riding or doing yard work, this ingenious inventor can do both!
