2001 Custom Built Motorcycles Chopper on 2040-motos
Chopper Chopper tech info
Chopper Chopper description
This is a custom built Mark Long chopper on a 2001 Santee frame. I bought the bike as a rolling chassis with about 4,000 miles on it and installed a factory rebuilt S&S 96ci motor. Everything is in working order and this thing is much more comfortable to ride than you would think. Very loud and it is definitely an attention getter. This bike is the opposite of discrete. If your neighbors don't like loud noises, get a Honda.

The Ride of a Lifetime by Paul Teutul Sr.
Tue, 10 Mar 2009According to the New York Post, David Letterman is a big motorcycle fan and could watch the same bike being built all week long. One of Letterman’s bikes did appear in the September 2008 issue of American Iron Magazine and he also wrote the forward to Paul Teutul Sr.’s new book “The Ride of a Lifetime” so I guess he walks the walk and talks the talk. If you don’t already know who Paul Teutul Sr.
Ariel Chopper on eBay
Mon, 24 Nov 2008Normally when I think of a custom chopper, I envision something like Wyatt’s Captain America bike or even retro re-creations like the Harley Davidson Cross Bones. After all the act of chopping normally referred to forks and frames, not chopping wood. A unique ride recently added to eBay breaks from this tradition with a wooden hot rod built around the engine and transmission from a 1952 Ariel Square 4 motorcycle.
Lawn-Mowing Motorcycle
Mon, 20 Apr 2009I can’t count how many sunny Saturdays in my adult life I have spent lamenting the fact that yard work took precedent over being able to spend the entire day out riding my motorcycle. Well, instead of wasting time dreaming, a farmer and motorcycle enthusiast managed to find a way to fix this problem by converting an old worn out ride on lawnmower into a chopper that actually, chops. Powered by a 17.5 HP Briggs and Stratton motor, the bike was constructed with the help of an old bed frame, an aluminum running board and parts from two old bikes. Now instead of choosing between going riding or doing yard work, this ingenious inventor can do both!
