The video you're watching isn't the electric chopper built by Orange County Choppers, but Paul Teutal Sr. has been showing off the Siemens Smart Chopper that he did build, a chopper built for Siemens to display their technical prowess. According to Teutal Sr., the Smart Chopper has a range of around 60 miles and can do up to 100mph.

Powered by a 17.5 HP Briggs and Stratton motor, the bike was constructed with the help of an old bed frame, an aluminum running board and parts from two old bikes. Now instead of choosing between going riding or doing yard work, this ingenious inventor can do both!

Bonnier Corp., Owners Of Cycle World, Acquire Nine Source Interlink Titles, Including Motorcyclist

Bonnier Corporation, owner of Cycle World, Popular Science and Field & Stream magazines, among others, has just inked a deal with Source Interlink Media, acquiring nine of SIM’s motorcycle titles. Terms of the transaction, including purchase price, were not disclosed. Under the deal, Bonnier acquires Motorcyclist, Sport Rider, Dirt Rider, Motorcycle Cruiser, Hot Bike, Baggers, Super Streetbike, Street Chopper and ATV Rider.
