Mon, 24 Nov 2008Normally when I think of a custom chopper, I envision something like Wyatt’s Captain America bike or even retro re-creations like the Harley Davidson Cross Bones. After all the act of chopping normally referred to forks and frames, not chopping wood. A unique ride recently added to eBay breaks from this tradition with a wooden hot rod built around the engine and transmission from a 1952 Ariel Square 4 motorcycle.

One of Letterman’s bikes did appear in the September 2008 issue of American Iron Magazine and he also wrote the forward to Paul Teutul Sr.’s new book “The Ride of a Lifetime” so I guess he walks the walk and talks the talk. American Chopper is Canceled
Mon, 08 Feb 2010After six seasons, the run is finally over for America’s favorite dysfunctional custom chopper family. The not so surprising news was announced on Saturday, February 6th by TLC. The Teutuls will always be a part of the Discovery family and we congratulate them on a tremendously successful series run. The show was already on its last legs due to all the family drama which includes a lawsuit between Paul Teutul, Sr.
