Chopper Chopper description
No lowball offers please. This is a badass bike for a badass dude and I am in no hurry to sell. I know there aren't a lot of badasses out there so I will wait for one to come by. Here is a video of the chopper idling. BLACK BETTY I'm selling the baddest chopper in town. She's long, low and could be the loudest bike in Florida. I love this chopper and don't want to sell but we have some health problems in my family that have to be taken care of. I just put her back together this weekend after breaking it apart to change the shifter pawl. New gaskets on the tranny, new clutch hub nut and seal. The transmission is good, engine is strong and I would hop on her today and ride for 10 hours with no issues. I added $100 bucks to my asking price because of the new shifter pawl and clutch hub nut.
This bike is not a trailer queen. I'm not a fan of chrome and clear coat...every once in awhile I spray some black paint on the tank and fender and ride it before it dries. If you want a chrome monster with 20 coats of clear coat you can make it that. She always starts on the 1st or 2nd kick if you do it right...a quick twist of the throttle, choke on 2nd position, kick. Choke off, another squirt of gas and she usually starts. If the temp is below 50 degrees you might have to kick her a few times. This chopper has a 5 speed tranny with a kick start. The tranny shifts well she's plenty fast enough. There's no speedo but I guess I've had it to about 110 mph. It's a pretty hairy experience...not for the feint of heart. You can tell from looking at her that she gets ALL the attention when we're out and about. Everyday I catch someone on the highway taking pictures of her and when I park it people come out of the woodwork to check it out. This bike is not for a new rider...it will throw you off the back when you hit the throttle. The suicide shift is a lot easier to ride than you think and I can give you some pointers if you've never ridden one. If you can drive a car with a manual transmission you cand ride this bike. This is a real chopper. It's a very simple setup that anyone can wrench on. It's loud and mean and needs a few tweaks every once in awhile, but honestly she's the best bike I've ever owned and I will die a little inside when she's gone. Like I said you might want to paint it but I like it the way it is. If you're reasonably close I can ride her to you for delivery, or I will help you ship it if you're far away. |

Well, everything short of the Oprah-esque trick of telling a crowd to look under their seats for the key to their new bikes. Instead, Star approached a group of 10 customizers that reads like a Who’s Who of the bike modification world, and supplied them with stock Bolts and a deadline.
