Chopper Chopper description

This bike was built by John Shope from Dirty Bird Concepts with one goal in mind, to win the Hot Bike Power Tour 2016! And it did! The bike is super famous and scheduled to be on the cover of Hot Bike magazine at the beginning of the year.  All the pieces are hand engraved. There is over $20,000 in engraving alone. The paint is chrome with air brushing over it, this has never been done before. All the body parts are one-off custom made parts specifically for this bike. Because the base is a Harley-Davidson, it has all the modern technology that comes with owning a Harley including retaining the Harley title.

Features: Front and rear air-ride, Performance Machine Controls, one-off belt drive with Barnett Clutch.  It has a hydraulic clutch. The motor is 103".  Hauls ass! Plenty of power for this bike. 6 speed transmission.  26" front wheel, 18" rear wheel.  Ride Wright radius hoops, the suede seat was designed by Guy's Upholstery and features green stitching.  Even the buttons on the seat are hand engraved! As you look at the bike you can see all the added engraved parts.  Features pan head style rocker covers.  The bike has John's new FL style swing arm kit and there is air-ride inside the FL style .  The ride of the bike is unbelievable. The handling and ride of this bike is amazing!  Not like your typical Softal. Up front we used touring model trees and neck kit with touring model smooth fork legs which adds to the amazing handling of this bike.   This bike is priced to sell!  Pictures do not do this justice.  It's gorgeous in person.

Lawn-Mowing Motorcycle

Mon, 20 Apr 2009

I can’t count how many sunny Saturdays in my adult life I have spent lamenting the fact that yard work took precedent over being able to spend the entire day out riding my motorcycle.  Well, instead of wasting time dreaming, a farmer and motorcycle enthusiast managed to find a way to fix this problem by converting an old worn out ride on lawnmower into a chopper that actually, chops. Powered by a 17.5 HP Briggs and Stratton motor, the bike was constructed with the help of an old bed frame, an aluminum running board and parts from two old bikes. Now instead of choosing between going riding or doing yard work, this ingenious inventor can do both!
