Cushman 898454-8820 description

For auction is a Cushman 3-wheeled truckster. I am told that this is a police model that can  be made street legal. I am assuming that it is a 1988 because there is a 1-88 stamped on the ID panel. I bought it to use to drive around swap meets because of the large cargo trunk under the back seats. But it wouldn't fit in my enclosed trailer. I first cut a little off of the top. It still wouldn't fit, so I eventually took the whole cab off, as it is now. The motor is a two cylinder opposed twin. I am told that it is a 22HP OMC. It has never failed to start, even after sitting all winter. It still starts, runs, and drives, but smokes quite a lot. It also runs very rough when it gets good and hot. The front tire is new. The rear tires hold air well, but are dried and cracked. I rebuilt the brake master cylinder, and replaced the 2 rear brake cylinders. I put a rebuilt kit in the front brake cylinder, but later found something broken on it, so I just capped the line off. So, the front brake does not work. It comes with a new front flex brake line. It comes with the cab, and the panel that I cut out of the top of it. The windshield is still good and comes with it too. It also comes with both cab doors though they are not shown in the pictures. The doors need to have new hinge pins made for them. It should be an easy job for any metal fabricator / welder. I would not trust this vehicle to be safe on the road. I always intended to rebuild or restore it, but never got around to it. Now I need the space, and it's got to go. As I said, it starts, runs and drives, but it is in overall rough condition. It would be great to use for parts, or to restore. You will be buying it "as is, where is". There is no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied. I will not ship it. I will only drive it out to the street for pick up by your shipper or shipping agent. Buyer is to either pick it up here, or arrange and pay for any and all shipping arrangements. I have no idea if the mileage is correct or actual. I do NOT have a title for this, but will furnish a good "bill of sale", and will have it notorized if you need for it to be.

After many trips to Italy, CorsaVino founder Arun Sharma, was exposed to Italian winemakers passion and obsession for quality and the detail that goes in to creating a fine wine.  Sharma, felt this kind of dedication resonated deeply with his appreciation for Italian motorcycles and sought out acclaimed winemaker Rich Cushman who also happened to have a passion for Italian motorcycles and started the CorsaVino winery.
