French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. This was the sorry looking JHP Ducati after Darren Fry crashed it in qualifying on Sunday before the first race of the championship. Fry broke his coccyx in the crash but, fortunately for Fry, it took around 10 people just over 3 hours to get the bike ready to race, as can be seen in the picture below. Hats off to Darren Fry for racing the bike over the rest of the weekend.

Trailer for Fastest

Wed, 07 Sep 2011

This is the trailer for the latest MotoGP specific documentary from filmmaker Mark Neal. The documentary, narrated again by Ewan McGregor, follows the 2010 and 2011 MotoGP campaigns of Valentino and tackling his new rivals in the youth contingent of Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and Ben Spies. Going behind-the-scenes Fastest charts the high and lows of last season, including Rossi's career-threatening crash at Mugello and his spectacular return to racing just 41 days later at the German Grand Prix, and shows his debut on the Ducati for the 2011 season.
