1986 Ducati F1 with less than 27300 original miles. Ready to be enjoyed.

1986 Ducati F1 (ZDM3AAALXGB751485) in excellent overall condition with very few minor cosmetic blemishes: two small dime sized dings on right top edge of tank, some spider crazing on fiberglass fairing, some minor paint scratches and touchups where needed. See pictures for some details. 3rd owner from new.

PHF 38mm carbs fitted. Two into one original Conti exhaust sounds great. Kill switch and switch gear from Bevel Heaven. Belts changed end of 2013; in 2014, less than 700 miles ago,  new tires, new chain, replacement rear Hagon mono shock; overhauled front and rear brake calipers; new vacuum petcock. Has slight leak on front fork seals, need replacing sooner or later.

Bike runs very strong and is ready to go. Clear GA title and registration in my name.

Fri, 15 Jun 2012

Transport Canada has issued a recall notice for the 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale due to an incorrect screw used in the rear suspension. At this point, the recall is only in Canada and the U.S.’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet issued a similar recall, but considering Ducati North America operates in both countries, a U.S. recall is likely to follow in the next week.

So It Begins: Audi and Lamborghini to Appear at World Ducati Week

Wed, 13 Jun 2012

Audi‘s purchase of Ducati is still waiting for regulatory approval but that hasn’t stopped the two companies from taking advantage of their impending union. Audi will make its presence known at the upcoming World Ducati Week celebrations, June 21-24 at the newly-renamed Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The German automaker will supply a range of cars to Ducati staff and management during World Ducati Week, and show off some of its high-end models such as the S6, S8 and the Audi R8 LMS (pictured above).

Ducati 1199 Panigale Superquadro Engine to Power Volkswagen XL1 Sport

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

Ever since Audi acquired Ducati, we’ve been anticipating the first cross-brand technological developments between the Italian motorcycle maker and the German automaker. Sure, there have been some cross-promotional tie-ins, but we’ve been waiting with baited breath to see what Audi, and its parent company the Volkswagen Group, had planned with Ducati‘s small engine technology. Well we don’t have to wait for much longer, as VW Chief Executive Officer Ferdinand Piech revealed the first product of the “DucAudi” union in a speech at the University of Vienna: a new sports car concept called the Volkswagen XL Sport powered by the Superquadro engine from the Ducati 1199 Panigale.
