Ducati Hypermotard description

2012 Hypermotard 1100 SP Corse Edition

3,300 miles

Has a brand new Dunlop Q3 rear tire. Probably 3 miles on it at the moment.

The bike is in excellent condition, last of the air cooled motards! Sounds great, looks great. Get a low mileage 1100 with all the goodies. 600 mile service was completed and I have receipt for that, along with all upgraded parts.

Some of the parts:

Full Carbon tail kit by AviaCompositi ($700 piece) looks increcible.
MWR intake lid
2 Sargent seats (one is white, and looks pretty cool)
Full Termi exhaust system with ECU
Bitubo Steering Dampener
Lots of carbon fiber parts.
Frame Sliders/Wheel sliders
Ducabike dry clutch with EVR Cover
Protaper bars
CRG Arrow bar-end mirrors

Most original parts will come with the bike including stock exhaust system, stock clutch, hand guards, etc.

I feel the bike is in excellent condition, but for all potential buyers there are two minor flaws. Both are in picture #7, a small paint chip in the white section that has been touched up. The other is a small bend on one of the oil cooler fins.

If you purchase the bike, and have it shipped I assure you these are the only two flaws that I am aware of. No disappointments here...

2010 NCR Millona 16

Wed, 02 Jun 2010

Take one Ducati Desmosedici 200+hp engine and put it into a super lightweight NCR chassis and you’ll quite possibly have the world’s fastest and most powerful motorcycle. At 145kg dry weight it’s lighter (even) than a MotoGP bike… The 989cc V4 produces a staggering 200hp @13.800rpm and 116Nm @10.500rpm. We’re going to have a chat with Michele Poggipolini of NCR about this bike, but we strongly suspect it’s a one off special.

How do 1000s compare to the 800s

Wed, 09 Nov 2011

Now MotoGP has completed its transformation from 800 to 1000cc, how do the lap times between the different bikes compare using Valencia and the post-season test as a benchmark.. Yesterday, Dani Pedrosa was the quickest 1000 on his Honda RC213V setting a time of 1:32.186. To find the quickest time from the outgoing 800 era you have to look at his current Repsol Honda team-mate, Casey Stoner, but it wasn't set on a Honda.

RSVP from an RSV4

Wed, 08 Sep 2010

Aprilia’s RSV4 Factory has to be one of the most interesting and adrenaline-inducing literbikes around, and that’s just part of why we gave it an Honorable Mention in our Best of 2010 Sportbike category. We recently had opportunity to put on a poor but passing Max Biaggi imitation with one particularly fine example. This RSV comes courtesy of our friend Kaming Ko, who often helps us on test rides.
