Ducati Diavel DVC by Moto Corse
Wed, 07 Aug 2013Diavel is the name of the last muscle naked launched by Ducati. The custom bikes that have been built on this base are few and far between.Moto Corse, an Italian / Japanese company specialize in special parts for the most famous italian motorcycle brand, and they created a new performance version of the Ducati's maxi naked, called "Diavel DVC". This bike shows all the special parts that Moto Corse has prepared for the Diavel, also painted in a particularly elegant white livery.
Piaggio Opening New Design Center in US
Wed, 14 Mar 2012Piaggio announced it is opening a new design center in Pasadena, Calif., to be headed by Aprilia RSV4 designer Miguel Galluzzi. Roberto Colaninno, chairman and chief executive officer of the Piaggio Group, announced plans for the new Advanced Design Center at a dealer convention for the Piaggio Group Americas in Miami, Fla. At the moment, North American customers usually have to wait a little longer before they receive new Piaggio models, with most models arriving on these shores months after they are available in Europe.
Ducati 1199 Panigale On The Dyno
Mon, 23 Jan 2012Italian magazine Motociclismo is one of the largest and most influential motorcycle publications in all of Europe, and they’ve captured this clip of a Ducati test rider running the new 1199 Panigale on the dyno. Rider wearing full gear aside (he even flips down his faceshield!), what sticks out to me is how quickly the new Superquadro engine accelerates through its rev range. I was also impressed at the length it took before the rev limiter was reached.
