2002 Ducati Monster on 2040-motos
Ducati Monster tech info
Ducati Monster description
I'm moving so I have to sell my 2002 Ducati Monster 620ie sport bike. I'm the 3rd owner and the bike has been garage kept for it's entire history. Great first bike that's easy and fast to ride while not being totally insane. There are some scratches on shift and break levers and a few dings on gas tank but otherwise the bike runs great. The reserve is set just above 1,000 just to make sure no low ball offers come in and grab it. Sale includes battery tender charger and pictured tail bag. |

Should this Ducati Video be Rated R?
Wed, 13 May 2009I’m feeling a little uncomfortable after watching Ducati’s recently posted “Colour Therapy” video. Are you prepared to watch a Ducati technician strip a Ducati Monster of it’s plastic to reveal it’s true nakedness? Cover your eyes if you are under 18. Ducati posted this video on YouTube to promote their “Colour Therapy”. “Colour Therapy” is there way of customizing the colour of your Ducati Monster motorcycle with an easily interchangeable kit that is available at Ducati dealerships. I have personally picked out a new colour for the Ducati that I don’t own. Hit the jump to see how a Ducati technician strips a Ducati Monster to “re-dress” it with some new colours.
Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams
Wed, 26 Sep 2012It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
