Ducati Monster tech info
Ducati Monster description
Up for sale is my extremely clean 2010 Ducati Monster 696. I hate to have to let this bike go, but I just purchased a Ducati 999 and need to make room in the garage. This bike has never been laid over and is as close to factory condition as you would expect for a bike with barely over 2,000 miles. I purchased the bike in May from the original owner who only put 1,700 miles on it over 5 years of ownership. Since May, I have replaced the spark plugs (factory spec NGK DCPR8E), changed the oil (Castrol Power RS Racing 4T 10W-40), and oil filter (K&N). This bike needs absolutely nothing and is ready to go! Current mileage is 2198, but odometer reads 885 as at 1313 miles the instrument panel was replaced at Pandora Motorsports in Chattanooga, TN. (Please see photo for invoice) Aftermarket upgrades include bar end mirrors, Rizoma anodized oil fill cap, and carbon fiber tank cover. Bike includes all service records and receipts, both keys, and all factory manuals. Bike is located in Chattanooga, TN. Please call Chris for any additional info at 423-468-0990. Clear title in hand. Thank you for looking!

That used to be a Ducati 1098
Thu, 08 Apr 2010I spotted this on my tinterweb travels. It's allegedly the demonstrator bike from a Ducati dealers on the isle of Jersey, in the English channel. The only information to hand is that the bike spat the rider off and the bike hit a tree - the only one for miles - and burst into flames.
Ducati Spotted In Madagascar! + Video
Thu, 29 May 2014As a motorcycle manufacturer, you know you’ve made it big when animated animals want to ride your products. Such is the case with Ducati and its cameo appearance in the movie Madagascar 3. Admittedly, I have yet to see the third installment of the hugely popular movie series in which the gang of zoo animals gets stuck on an island, but I suppose the cameo will appeal to those moto-parents who were dragged to the theater by their kids.
Streetfighter 848, with added bling
Thu, 29 Sep 2011Now, you could hardly accuse the Streetfighter of not being good-looking, but for those of you who want a little more, Ducati have - of course - produced a range of aftermarket accessories to add a bit of bling to the already fairly tasty Streetfighter 848.Most of the Japanese aftermarket add-ons (or genuine accessories as they're known) are either too conservative or remarkably pointless. Let's take the fake-carbon clock surround on the CBR600RR or body-coloured pillion seat hump on the R1 as examples from a list of thousands. However, the bits bolted onto this Ducati look the part and give it an extra air of brutality and not a single centimetre of rim tape in sight.Check out the pics below; that seat unit is a work of art.
