Ducati Monster description

2013 Ducati Monster 796 ABS with 2656 miles. Last of the beloved air-cooled motors...

Very clean, like new cosmetically. Never dropped. A really nice comfortable setup as well as versatile. Beautiful dealer installed TERMIGNONI exhaust with removable sound baffles, sounds unbelievable! Take them out and wow!

The GIVI top case is removable, but it will hold your helmet and some gear as well as act as a much appreciated backrest for a passenger. The "slightly" higher and further back Rizoma black bars were carefully chosen and are very comfortable. Aluminum adjustable hand levers. were added By adding the well designed small and good looking PUIG windscreen and the windscreen deflector allow you to deflect quite a bit of wind and noise while still looking sporty and without being bulky. The hand guards work and are easily removable. The Cortech tank bag is just the right size offering generous and ample extra storage for most day trips. RAM cell phone mount installed. Rear Stand included in sale.  I do have the painted seat cowl (not in the pics) and it comes with the bike as well as any stock parts removed except the exhaust. Also, I changed the rear sprocket as most recommend to minimize the slight stumble in first gear, it is a GREAT and needed option! Can't think of anything else I would do to this machine and it's all expertly done for you...

I spent some time and thought to set this one up. I used to be a BMW Motorcycle Dealer and have a feel for a comfortable and functional set up, this one hits the spot! Talk about a pure lightweight machine that performs and rides impeccably and sounds so sweet...

I really don't want to part with this sweetheart of a machine but I am raising cash to relocate to Florida and am motivated to sell it now. I hope I'll have the pleasure of setting up another some day soon, but for now sadly, it must find a new home.

If you want a Ducati Monster, look no further, and get ABS brakes!

I will assist with shipping company or pick you up at the Albany International Airport for your ride home if you like.

Not much else to say, but to ask questions through eBay or call / text 518-229-6901 anytime. Thank you! Ron

Buyer to pay for any shipping charges. $500 deposit within 24 hours and the balance in 7 days. I can hold the machine if need be for a reasonable amount of time to be discussed. Call.

Back in September, the two brands came together to produce the special edition Ducati Diavel AMG at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

Ducati Reports 43% Growth in North America

Thu, 19 Jan 2012

Ducati North America announced growth of 43% in 2011 compared to 2010, resulting in the Bologna company’s largest ever market share in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The announcement reinforces claims made by Ducati Chief Executive Officer Gabriele Del Torchio last September: North America has replaced Italy as Ducati’s #1 market. Ducati attributes its growth to the popularity of the Diavel and Mulistrada in North America.
